Private Sale from my own collection:

This is a really beautiful piece of porcelain – a renaissance youth playing his Lute by an open wall. It would make a gorgeous centerpiece. It’s Italian, yet obviously in the Spanish Lladro style.

It stands an impressive 14.5 inches high by 11.5 inches across. It’s a heavy yet strangely delicate piece of porcelain art. Please take a good look at the pics and that will show how great a condition it is in.

Franz Teapot of the Fluttering Butterfly Collection

$220.00

Private Sale from my own collection:

This is a perfect condition Franz teapot of the Fluttering Butterfly collection. I cannot fully describe how amazingly beautiful this is. All pieces are made to an exacting standard AND all are hand painted so no two are ever completely alike.

I have no real need to say more as anyone who appreciates fine world-class porcelain will know exactly what this is. They are becoming scarce as they are being bought as an investment as the price continues to rise.

These are in very limited world supply – this particular design was limited to literally a handful. It is unlikely that you will ever see another like it, incorporating the rich nature flora and fauna design.

Teapot is in perfect working order and comes with its original box.

The Artist –  Born in Seoul, South Korea on September 14, 1949, Myung “Mario” Jung began his promising career as an artist in the mid 80’s. His life changed dramatically when he was paralyzed, blinded and deafened as side effects from a catastrophic, third-story, balcony fall. Not even interested in food, Mario was giving up until he had a spiritual dream that renewed his strength and his will to live. Leaving doctors, family, and friends amazed and perplexed, Mario recovered completely and has since meticulously developed his flexible artistic style. Working in a multitude of genres, Mario’s emerging popularity is heightened by his ability to create a diverse range of work from classic and realistic stills, popular among Nu Realists Collectors, to passionate impastos with richly textured details.
Mario has been a member of the Seoul Artist Association for more than 30 years and has received Grand Prize honors in the category of Western Art from the association’s Exhibition of Fine Artists. His collectors reach around the world and his personal dreams are being fulfilled one painting at a time. His work has become extremely desirable and collectible in recent years.

N. Faulkner is an internationally published charcoal artist and photographer based in North Texas; her charcoal and graphite work has been shown worldwide. ‘Eyes of the Starman’ was created by scratching India ink directly into a canvas panel. To date, this remains N. Faulkner’s only known ink work.

From the artist: “One thing I love and hate about ink is how cheat-proof it is. I don’t get to erase it or to tweak it, not like the faulty stroke of a pencil. With ink, my first stroke is my last. A bit like live music – once heard, the faulty note cannot be taken back, but the piece is all the more beautiful for its presence.”
